Farm Policy

• Your produce is harvested on the week of your pick up. So, that you are getting freshly harvested produce.

• Your produce is all from non genetically modified plant stock and seed. We only use old varieties of plant stock and seed.

• You will be paying up front for a weekly box of assorted naturally-grown produce. We will choose from 6 to 10 items from our fields in a given week to ensure a nice mix of produce in season.

• If there is a problem with availability or quality of an item in the crop mix we may choose to delete it from the mix. We will keep you posted by email as to any crop failures if any.

• Our produce and fruit is not all from the same farm. Our farms are located on Sauvie Island, Dixie Mt., Hood River, Yakima and Cornell Rd. Our diversity of farms helps keep down the risk of crop failures.

• You will know your food is locally grown and picked fresh.

• You will receive recipes pertaining to the produce in your box each week.

• You will be able to visit your farmer each week to pick up your produce and visit our overstock store on the farm. We may have an over-supply of items in a given week, so visit our overstock page for reduced price or giveaway items we have available.

• You will need to pick up your produce on a designated day here at the farm on Cornell Rd.

• You will need to bring back your box each week. If you forget, you will be charged $4.00 to replace the one you lost.

• There are no returns of payment. You are essentially sharing in the risk of farming but with our diversified mix of farms in the area you can be confident that you have a reliable source of naturally grown produce each week.

• Each week you will receive a different mix of produce. You will receive an assortment of produce that is in season. We will also have a newsletter on our website that will keep you informed about events taking place at the farm and things available at our farm store.

• The cost for a membership for the 2010 crop season:

1. If you pay with CASH the price will be $450 for a full share and $306 for a half share.
2. If you pay with CREDIT CARD or CHECK the price will be $472 for a full share and $317 for a half share (Check or Credit).
3. If you get on our PAYMENT PLAN the price will be $472 for a full share and $317 for a half share (pay 1st half at registration and 2nd half May 15th).
